The People of Guizhou

In 2008, I was commissioned by the Foreign Languages Press in Beijing, China to pen and provide images for a new book The People of Guizhou. For this assignment I conducted over 45 interviews with artists, chefs, musicians, and industry leaders.
Each chapter is compiled from these interviews along with my experience traveling through the province. Although one of the poorest areas in China, Guizhou is rich in culture as it is home to the highest concentration of ethnic minorities in the country.
This book has also been translated into Chinese.
